The reason you see so many classified ads on the internet is very simple.
They work, they bring results! (And they are FREE!)
The Question is, are they working for you?
Writing classified ads is easy once you know how.
Here is a formula for writing great classified ads so that they can be found and work right for you!
Classified websites are the most cost effective way of advertising today. They may look very simple, but to get a great ad you need to put some work into it.
If you want your classified ads to stand out, consider these small steps.
The five parts of a great classified ad are:
1. The Title
Make Your Title Short. Five to seven words works very well
Use a question as your headline. The point of your headline is to get people to stop long enough to consider your Ad
Use an exclamation point or question mark in your headline
2. Sub-The Title
Be clear. Tell the reader exactly how your product will help them.
“Here is how I can solve your problem” is how you want them to feel.
3. The Body
Use a “number of steps” formula. If your product will solve a problem in a certain number of steps, say so.
People love simple solutions to their problems.
Use a “number of ways” formula. Use this instead of a number of steps. If your product offers alternative solutions to a problem then say so right up front.
Use an “in under” formula. When time or money is involved, use “in under” or “for less than” approach works well. One example is “How to succeed online for under $100!” or “Less than $100”
Talk to your specific audience. Men, Women or Students. House wives or professionals. Selling to houses or businesses and let them know you understand them.
4. The Call to Action
In most cases the action you want the reader to take is clicking the link in your ad or making the phone call.
5. TAGs (Key Words)
Tags, or key words are very important part of your ad for Google search to find you & the customer to click on your ad.
Stop Words: Tags (Key Words) are not supposed to have stop words in them. Google search ignores stop words such as (a about after all also always am an and any are at be been being but by came can can’t come could did didnt do does doesnt doing etc)
